| John James Audubon's plate #1 Wild Turkey from the 1987 Institute de France Edition. These are copper plate engravings after Audubon's famous Birds of America work. This is a Limited Edition of 300 double elephant folio prints measuring about 29-1/2" X 40-1/2". Engraved, printed and hand colored in Paris by artisans of the Institute de Paris. Engraving was done by Jacque David with hand coloring by Jacomet. The print is on very heavy watermarked BFK Rives 100% cotton rag paper. This print is in EXCELLENT condition. This print sells for $2500.00 - $4000.00 in retail stores. My wholesale price is $1950.00. As with all modern prints, this print will be shipped rolled in a sturdy 6" X 42" shipping tube, via UPS ground to the US, for an additional $25.00 fee to cover shipping costs and insurance.
